1. Create an account on RecDesk:
o Residents who wish to pay the daily admission rate at the Plain Township Aquatic center must create a profile on RecDesk.
o The Township staff will review and approve their residency status.2. Key Fob Issuance:
o Once approved, residents should contact the Township.
o The Resident Daily Admissions Rate Key Fob will be issued to them and their family members.o The key fobs will be placed in an envelope with their name on it and can be picked up either at the Township office or the next day at the pool.
3. Non-Registered Residents:
o If residents do not register on RecDesk and DO NOT receive a key fob, they will be charged the Non-resident rate for daily admissions.4. Scanning the Key Fob:
o At the pool, residents should scan their Resident Daily Admissions Rate key fob using the POS system.o This action will display the Resident Rates ONLY.
5. Residency Definition:
o A resident is defined as someone living in the Plain Township/New Albany property taxing district (220, 221 & 222).o Those residing in 545 are considered non-residents, and their property tax is paid to the City of Columbus.
Once you create an account on RecDesk, contact the Township to have your RESIDENT DAILY ADMISSION RATE key fob issued for each family member. If you DO NOT scan your RESIDENT DAILY ADMISSION RATE key fob, you will be charged the NON-RESIDENT daily admission rate.
Resident Key Fob is for RESIDENTS living within the Plain Township/New Albany property taxing district (220,221 & 222) 545 taxing district is the City of Columbus and a NON-Resident!
